About Coaching

Often people attempt to live their lives backwards; they try to have more things, or more money, in order to do more of what they want so that they will be happier. The way it actually works is the reverse. "You must first BE who you really are, then, DO what you need to do, in order to HAVE what you want." ~ Margaret Young

Coaching: Explore the Infinite Possibilities
Coaching is a dynamic, purposeful, and immensely supportive process. It is directed by and grounded in your daily lived experiences. Where do you feel incomplete? What are you challenged by or confronted with? What do you want more of in your life? That's where we begin. Your coach is someone who assists you in determining your own answers to achieve success. Coaching in essence is about learning what you don't even know you don't know, and opening up new opportunities for effective action.

Therapy and Counseling. The major focus of therapy and counseling, in our opinion, is to address the healing of medical conditions, which may be both psychological and/or physical in nature. The therapeutic process may focus on the healing and resolution of issues rooted in the past, or issues related to abuse, addictions, or crisis response.

At Next Level Coach we view coaching to be less concerned with healing old wounds and more grounded in developing your present and future. Our coaching programs are action-oriented and are a great tool for individuals and groups to take their lives on in a powerful new way.  For additional information on the differences between therapy and coaching click here.

Neuro - Linguistic Programming: Several of the Coaches are Certified NLP Practitioners . Unlike some other schools of psychotherapeutic thought, which concentrate on how problems arise, NLP started from studying people who are exceptionally good at what they do, and finding out how they do it so that anyone can get similar results by doing the same things. It aims to move beyond remedial change (fixing specific problems) to 'generative' change, which empowers you to achieve more in every area of your life. Often people find that when they learn a new skill or make a breakthrough in one area of their life, problems in other areas seem to disappear or seem less important.
